The Centre for Global Citizenship Education & Inclusion (GCEI) encourages students to engage in transformative education for social good through global citizenship learning. We are also committed to eliminating all forms of discrimination and harassment by creating an environment of inclusion in teaching, learning, employment and support services. The Centre for GCEI works collaboratively with faculty and students to build an infrastructure to embed global citizenship, equity and human rights principles throughout the academic experience.
Students and staff can gain practical experience and guidance on issues of global citizenship, equity and inclusion through the Centre, which functions to facilitate learning in these areas for all members of the College community. The Centre for GCEI also works directly with the College community to identify strategies to eliminate systemic barriers and increase access to learning, employment and services.
The Centre for Global Citizenship Education & Inclusion supports the implementation of the Signature Learning Experience (SLE) through co-curricular, extra-curricular and professional development activities on- and off-campus. For more information, visit the Centre for GCEI at Progress Campus, B2-12, email us at gcei@centennialcollege.ca, or give us a call at 416-289-5000, ext. 2464.
